 In the Carrillo library, the student comes first, and all the programs and activities encourage and support the growth, development and enrichment of our students through their direct involvement in research, reading and the effective use of technology.

 I am excited about implementing a strong library program at Carrillo Elementary School that empowers all students to become lifelong readers, learners, and ultimately creators of information.  I will use my skills to work with and for my colleagues in an effort to bring quality resources to all students, and to guide them in purposeful use of the library resources that best meet their educational needs.
