Meet the Social Worker

Hello Carrillo students and families!

My name is Randi Alcarez, and I’m the district social worker for Carrillo Elementary, Price Elementary, and Dwight Middle School. This is my third year at South San ISD and my fourth year working in public education. Each year, I look forward to working with students and their families.

My previous experience includes community mental health, working with unhoused individuals, and inpatient mental health. I am a licensed clinical social worker and earned my master’s degree from Ohio State University in social work with a concentration in child/youth services.
