Mrs. Jo Ann Buchanan

I am delighted to introduce myself as your Principal for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. I am looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and success.  This year our theme will be Peace, Love & Learning. I am married and have a daughter Jodie and a son Bobby. I also have 3 grand dogs a Golden Doodle named Ollie, a Sheepdoodle named Georgie, and a rescue dog named Bair. With a deep commitment to education and 44 years of experience, I am honored to lead Carrillo Elementary. My aim is to create an environment where every student feels valued, inspired, and supported on their educational journey.

At Carrillo Elementary, we're dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence. Expect a year of exciting learning opportunities, innovative teaching methods, and a focus on your child's holistic development. Education thrives on collaboration between educators and parents.
