Meet the Counselor

Mrs. Patricia G. Lopez

Hello Wildcats and families! My name is Patricia Lopez, and I am thrilled to begin another exciting school year with you at Carrillo Elementary. This year marks my 11th year in education and my second year as the counselor here at Carrillo. 

I am a proud graduate of Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where I earned my undergraduate degree in Business Administration and my master’s degree in Guidance and Counseling. My journey in education has been incredibly rewarding, and I am passionate about helping our students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

On a personal note, I have been happily married to my wonderful husband for 33 years, and together, we have three amazing children. Family is a cornerstone of my life, and I bring that same sense of commitment and support to our school community.

As we embark on this new school year, I am here to support you in every way possible. Whether it’s navigating the challenges of school or celebrating successes, my door is always open. Let's make this a fantastic year, Wildcats!
